Bent Double

Bent Double continued its storming run at Komedia with yet another superb line up of comedians. A road-weary Zoe Lyons compered, regaling the crowd with hilariously gratuitous pictures and stories of touring the UK, much to everyone’s delight.

First act Susan Murray was given a very warm reaction but was only slightly let down by a slow delivery. The charming David Morgan was playing to a home crowd, material-wise, as his perspective of the perils and mundanity of modern gay life raised roars of laughter.

Headliner Dana Alexander was simply sensational. The sassy American comic spent the first five minutes lampooning all manner of topics; race, immigration, beauty and age all came under fire, and every joke after hit the mark. Bent Double is an unmissable comedy night!
