Tom Odell + support from London Grammar

Sunday night was a triumphant homecoming for Tom Odell, the rising star from Chichester who studied music in Brighton. It was Mother’s Day and his mum and grandmother joined the sell-out crowd at The Haunt, bopping on the balcony to a deconstructed cover of ‘Honkey Honk Woman’. For much of the gig the audience stood silent and mesmerised by the talent on stage as the 22 year old delivered a piano-thumping, vocally accomplished and mature performance, way beyond his years. The applause after each song was rapturous however and the gig was a pleasure, a joy and a delight.
