Woman goes missing in Brighton

A woman has gone missing in Brighton after taking her family dog for a walk.

Brenda Davies, 77, was last seen at the home of a member of her family in Hanover at about 10.30pm on Tuesday (12 March).

Sussex Police said: “She is believed to be with the family dog, a brown and white 18-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier.”

Brenda was described as 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with shoulder-length wavy white hair.

She was believed to be wearing jeans, a black puffa jacket with a logo, black gloves and a cream, green and pink beanie hat.

She is not from Brighton but has relatives here and, Sussex Police said, she frequents The Level and the Queen’s Park and Kemp Town areas.

Anyone who has seen her is asked to call Sussex Police on 101.
