Woman who went missing in Brighton is found safe and well

A 77-year-old woman who went missing in Brighton has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said this morning (Thursday 14 March).

A worried relative reported Brenda Davies missing after she went out to take the family dog for a walk and didn’t come back.

She had been staying with a member of her family in Hanover and had last been seen on Tuesday (12 March).

She is not from Brighton but has relatives here and, Sussex Police said, often spends time at The Level and in the Queen’s Park and Kemp Town areas.

Police said that they would like to thank everyone who helped in the search for Brenda.
