Chas & Dave

It’s a night everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. On music ability alone they are one of the big hitters; from Chas Hodges’ self-taught boogie-woogie piano playing and backing the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis with his old band ‘The Outlaws’, to Dave Peacock as one of Joe Meek’s pioneering ‘Tornados’ and being sampled by Eminem. But it’s their ability to give the audience licence to just let their hair down and have fun (which the audience did with gusto) that really sets them apart from the rest. They are more than just ‘Snooker Loopy’ or ‘Gertcha’, they are ‘A’ grade musicians. A proper knee’s up!
