Rich Hall

Rich Hall decided to eshew the comedy festival this year and go it alone. With his trademark grumpy wit, he entertained a packed house with his mixture of deadpan tales and semi-improvised songs. Hall delighted us with some topical and ironic new material, all the while bantering with the audience and picking on selected individuals from the front row, skilfully weaving their names and occupations into his act. I had a great night and so did the rest of the audience – it was a joy to spend the evening with such a skilful, funny and intelligent performer.
