City of…Ecology: Brighton Waste House

Brighton Waste House is based on a project by designer Kevin McCloud. Built in the grounds of the University of Brighton’s Grand Parade campus, the house is being constructed from recycled rubbish, such as toothbrushes, old denim and video tapes. Architect Duncan Baker-Brown aims for it to be one of the first A* energy rated buildings in the UK.
