Alfie Boe

Alfie Boe. Renowned tenor, famous for the monstrous voice that made him popular with musical fans everywhere when he took on the role of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables in 2010. Those who expected to see a mix of operatic classics and hits from the musicals can make up their own minds about whether Boe’s impressive yet distinctly different stage show was their cup of tea. Although singing pop oldies such as ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘If I Can Dream’ and ‘Shine A Light’ didn’t leave a dry seat in the house, there was no doubt that when Boe opened his mouth to his predominately female audience with ‘Bring Him Home’, he certainly brought it home.
