Funny Women

The venue, small and intimate, was the perfect place for an evening of fun, frolics and laughter. Julie Jepson was the compere, and built an immediate rapport with the audience. Abi Roberts, the first act, exploded on to the stage, with her wild hair and fast-paced humour, which never once faltered. She was quickly followed by a succession of very funny women, including Gabby Best, whose alter ego Marijana introduced the audience to pelvic floor exercises at the Chelsea Hilton. Lara A King, the winner of Funny Women 2011 was the icing on the cake. A side-splittingly hilarious night.
