Apples & Eve

It’s refreshing to find a new band with such a traditional sound, and this is certainly the case for Apples and Eve. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Laura Marling, Duran Duran to Laura Veirs, there is a real folky vibe that surrounds the band’s lyrics, vocals and stage presence. Formed just two years ago at Varndean College in Brighton, this band has become so well established in a very short space of time and with its lead singer aged only 19, their range of work is impressive. Headlining at Sticky Mike’s, they transported the crowd to the festival season with their charismatic and energetic performance.
