Boothby Graffoe – Nomad, No Sane Either

Weird, weird, weird but in a good way. Graffoe is the proof that stand-up comedy is alive and not just a stepping stone on the way to the celebrity and panel game circuit. His act is bizarre, his delivery casual, his musicality undoubtedly good – put all this together and you are in for a night of comedic joy. Add to it Nick Pynn and you should be able to double the stars awarded. No matter, this is an act of real class and one that I could watch over and over. Spontaneously silly, occasionally pointed, momentarily bitter but always intelligent and thoughtful, Graffoe is a real entertainer.
