Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby

Despite rumours to the contrary, The Greys pub in Hanover is still putting on the finest live alt-country and folk acts from around the world. Case in point, tonight’s duo. Heartfelt, educational country ballads recounting Craig’s Virginian, and Willoughby’s Irish, upbringings mixed with heartfelt lyricism and melodies made for an evening to nourish the spirit. Craig has a voice and stage presence to send tingles down your spine while perfectly accompanied by Willoughby’s accomplished guitar noodling. The pair complemented each other beautifully, crafting haunting songs which remain with you many hours later. A superior evening out.
