Andrew Lawrence – Is Coming To Get You

Okay, he’s got a face like Skeletor’s hungrier brother but the quintessential ‘face for radio’ had the crowd in stitches. Lawrence is tailor-made for a live audience, keen for something different from the usual dry froth of Macintyre Roadshow/Apollo material. The man’s angry at, well, just about everything. A path well trodden maybe, but no-one at the moment does it as eruditely or with as much intellect. Succinctly his material was based around people, everyday life and the problems/issues/difficulties he has with elements of it. You could argue it’s a bit of an ultra sarcastic lecture, but increbibly funny!
