Open air cinema returns to Brighton beach
Brighton will have an open air cinema on the beach for the second summer running.
Brighton’s Big Screen showed the Olympics and popular films last summer and is promising more box office hits, classics and live sport this summer.
The films include Les Miserables, Life of Pi and Oblivion. The sports include the World Athletics Championships.
The 40sqm screen will be almost twice as big as last year’s and the seating includes a grandstand as well as a bar and refreshment area.
This year the screen will be on the beach side of the Brighton Wheel, close to the Palace Pier, and will be open from Tuesday 30 July to Monday 26 August.
