While it pains me to ever criticise a production which seeks to expose political corruption, on this occasion I find it impossible not to. The Italian cast’s comment on former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi was impossible to decipher behind a wave of half-arsed, clumsy and baffling abstract physicality and dialogue. The performance was disjointed, lacked energy or momentum, and bizarre portrayals of monkeys, sex workers and emergency services telephone operators were embarrassing at best. This show will stick around in my mind for a very long time, but for all the wrong reasons.
