Patrick Monahan

Various issues delayed this gig by nearly an hour. However give him is due, Patrick worked hard to get the crowd back onside and eventually delivered a set sparse on actual pre-written material but packed with irreverent, off the cuff, conversation-based comedy. He did his usual crowd cuddles which of course immediately relaxes some and unnerves others in equal measure. Then followed madcap journeys through relationships/marriage, how to propose, the size and demographic of local villages to name but a few. From these sparks came the opportunity to insert his pre-planned material. Few L.O.L moments but definite admiration for his work ethic and chumminess with his audience.
