Judith Kerr in conversation with Michael Rosen

The theatre was full and the audience sat spelllbound whilst Michael Rosen interviewed Judith Kerr about her life. Judith is in the year of her 90th birthday and it was fascinating to hear about her childhood growing up in Berlin and her escape from Nazi Germany,and her move to Paris, and later England. Judith’s career as a children’s book author and illustrator has scanned many generations and kept children enraptured through the years with her stories including ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. There was a sneak preview of Judith’s latest book ‘Creatures’ and Judith read ‘The Great Granny Gang’ story to the audience.
