Mikelangelo & The Black Sea Gentlemen

Salacious, enticing, full to the brim with unspoken temptations and taking us on many a journey as each song unfolds into an adventure of some sort, Mikelangelo & The Black Sea Gentlemen delivered the goods with Baltic charm and a devilish glint in the eye of each performer. From a cold and wet afternoon we were transported to fearsome seas, a baking spaghetti Western, and to some far-flung hidden corners of the world where bad things happen – all with a superb sense of dark humour. By the time they returned for a raucously demanded (and bribed) encore we knew they had us all and every audience member to a child stood cheering, and the dark side felt fabulous.
