An Intimate Evening With Lucinda Williams

Over thirty years since recording her first album, and Lucinda Williams still has the ability to wow an audience and perform live for almost two hours straight. We were treated to a mixture of old favourites and new tracks, from ballads to traditional country, and blues, moving on to more rocky Americana. Lucinda belted out ‘Drunken Angel’, ‘Car Wheels On A Gravel Road’, ‘I Lost It’, ‘Joy’ and many more, in a smooth, rich, strong voice. All combined in an impressive performance from a talented singer-songwriter who obviously enjoys sharing her work with an appreciative –and appreciated – audience.
