Great Escape: Marmozets
Having grown up together, Marmozets have the kind of onstage chemistry and flawless delivery it makes you wonder if they are telepathic. Their front woman looked like a tiny frail thing up on the stage of the Concorde 2 but once the band sparked up she let out an almighty roar that would put any black metal vocalist three times her size or age to shame. When looking around the venue the expressions on people’s faces was that of awe and shock. Marmozets are by no means a novelty act; their technical guitar work and high-speed drumming are nothing to be sneered at. This is just the beginning for these guys and it is no doubt going to be a successful and exciting journey for them.
