The Hee Has – iProv Shuffle

An interesting premise; the show is separated into three parts. The first part utilises several iPods volunteered by the audience (their own) and put onto ‘shuffle’ mode so that an extract is played at random and two of the players step up and play a scene inspired by the musical snippet. The second section involved more traditional improvising games. And the third part returned to the music style, but with a few of the games’ stylings thrown in. Of mixed abilities, this troupe clearly enjoyed the show and had some bright talents, but with a large number of scenes lacking any plot arcs and the ‘interactive’ element pared back it struggled to engage at times. Fun, and with promise.
