Police hunting Brighton woman to send her back to prison
A Brighton woman is being hunted by police so she can be sent back to prison.
Sussex Police said that Gemma Godfrey, 29, formerly of Dewe Road, Brighton, was wanted for breaching the terms of her prison release licence.
She was described as white, of medium build with dark shoulder-length hair.
Detective Sergeant Dave Osland said: “Godfrey is wanted for failing to comply with the conditions of a community order following a shoplifting offence in Brighton.
“We believe she is still in the Brighton area.”
He asked anyone with information about Godfrey’s whereabouts to call Sussex Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
He added that Godfrey posed no physical threat to the public.
