Pranks And Mischief

It seemed fitting for an afternoon lecture on the history of the prankster – from Brer Rabbit to Chris Morris – to take place in what felt like a library room from bygone times. Dr David Bramwell had given this lecture before, but his combination of information, humour and a cultivated suspicion on our part due to the subject matter was a delightful balance. Fully illustrated with projected slides and videos, Dr Bramwell delivered a thought-provoking and meaty hour, filled with stories you want to know more of and discussions bubbling over, triggered by the spark of mischief in us all.
