The Listies

A wet Tuesday afternoon after the glorious Bank Holiday weekend may not be a promising time to put on a show, but when you’re a kid, who cares!? From Australia, The Listies are well schooled in classic UK comedy; stupid, silly and a little surreal. Aimed at 5+ their show, Earworms, centres around the recording of a live podcast; featuring songs, sketches, jokes and plenty of gentle toilet humour, which strangely enough appeals to all… The duo of Matt and Rich (who cannot resist the joke – aimed at adults – of spending three years in acting school for this…) are adept at keeping everything under control despite the seemingly anarchic flow of the show, and the kids (and adults) are all having a ball. It’s all very funny and not one minute of the show was wasted.
