Marine Life: Brighton Marina’s Kirsty Pollard on Macmillan’s bowling event

Bowl up, bowl up, take part and help us strike it right on the night for Macmillan Cancer Support on Tuesday 11 June. Your local Brighton Macmillan Cancer Support Fundraising team are encouraging locals to embrace Father’s Day by hosting a charity bowling night at Bowlplex, Brighton Marina. Join us in this fundraising fiesta to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer.

Macmillan want YOU to bring along your work teams, house mate teams, families and friends as well as corporate teams, to throw some bowling balls down the alley and grab some drinks and nibbles, either in memory of a loved one or in a bid to raise awareness of male specific cancers.

All money raised as this event will support the Macmillan Sussex Appeal which is on a mission to build the brand new and innovative support and information centre for the people of Sussex who are affected by Cancer. Due to be built directly opposite the Royal Sussex County Hospital, this centre would offer medical, emotional and financial advice and support to everyone in Sussex right where it’s needed. The appeal needs to raise £3.7million to make this happen. Help make this happen by bowling up on the night!

This event is on Tuesday 11 June, 7pm till late at Bowlplex Brighton Marina at only £10 per person per game with teams of eight people or less.
