Reginald D Hunter – In the Midst of Crackers

Hunter’s stand-up routine seems to be like a fine wine – it just keeps improving with age. While always being a far from conventional or safe comedian, his new show moves things up to another level; the American mixes confessions of intensely personal experiences with tales of his recent high profile public controversies to craft a refreshingly honest and challenging form of comedy. The laughs still come thick and fast, but Hunter now also exudes a startling sense of maturity and wisdom that he always seemed to strive for in the past, but never quite succeeded in conveying. Inspirational, thought-provoking and irrepressibly funny.
