Hamptons International raises £25k for charity partner, Cancer Research UK
Residential estate agency Hamptons International has successfully raised £25,000 as part of its official corporate partnership with Cancer Research UK. The partnership, which was announced in February, has an overall fundraising target of £100,000 by the end of the year.

To raise £25,000, employees at Hamptons International have taken part in a range of fundraising events and initiatives. Highlights have included a companywide ‘Bake Off’ which took place between March and May, raising £4,000 and the ‘Best of British Raffle’ organized by the Sloane Square and Knightsbridge branches which raised £14,630. The raffle saw an incredible array of over 45 prizes, ranging from a Mulberry handbag to four sought after private box tickets to see Eric Clapton at The Royal Albert Hall.

Marc Goldberg, Head of Sales at Hamptons International says: “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached the £25k mark! It is both rewarding and encouraging to see we have arrived at this stage with so many company-wide fundraising initiatives still to roll out.

“Cancer Research UK is a charity which is very close to all of our hearts – with many in the company directly or indirectly affected by the illness. As a result, the support and engagement within the company has been tremendous and everyone is determined to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.”

Over the next few months other companywide fundraising initiatives are being launched such as ‘Colours for Cancer’ – where all 1,000 staff members will pay just £2 to wear a specific colour to support and raise awareness of a particular cancer. ‘Spring Clean’ will also be launched encouraging all Hamptons staff, applicants, vendors and landlords to de-clutter their home and take belongings to their local Cancer Research UK shop. Hamptons International are also encouraging female staff to sign up to their local Race for Life event.
