Three men attack teenager in Brighton street

Three men beat up a teenager as he was walking along Bear Road in Brighton last week.

Sussex Police said that the 18-year-old victim was walking home when a dark-coloured car pulled up and three men got out.

They attacked the teenager and left him with two black eyes and a cut and swollen lip.

The attack took place between 8.50pm and 9.10pm last Thursday (6 June).

PC Paul Nellis said: “This was an unprovoked attack and we are investigating the circumstances.”

He urged anyone who saw the attack or who had information about it to call Sussex Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
