Brighton Boost off to a blending start

It may only be the UK’s 11th Boost Juice bar, but since it’s arrival, the Oz-originated brand is going from strength to strength. It’s a firm favourite here in Brighton, fitting in with our fun, laid back ethos, and with the focus on fresh fruit and low fat ingredients, the Boost Juice Bar ticks all the right boxes.

Located in Churchill Square shopping centre, Brighton simply couldn’t get enough of the freshly made smoothies and juices, with over 3,000 drinks blended in the opening week. Strawberry Squeeze and Berry Crush proved to be the stone cold favourites amongst everyone!

The ladies of Brighton clearly realised they were onto a good thing with Boost’s deliciously healthy smoothies, as they made up over three quarters of the first week’s clientele, mirroring the customer base of Boost’s original Australian stores. Unsurprisingly, Saturday was the busiest day of the week, with the Boostie team blending and juicing flat out all day to keep up with the demand for nearly 1,000 drinks.

Boost was brought to the UK in 2007 by Richard and Dawn O’Sullivan after their daughter came across the Boost juice phenomenon, whilst traveling throughout Australia. The couple, who were behind the Millies Cookies chain before selling up in 2003, aim to emulate their earlier success with another 10 Boost bars planned to open this year alone!

Dawn O’Sullivan, Boost Juice Bars UK co-founder and director said: “We’re really pleased with the success and popularity of Boost Brighton! It’s a great location for us and we’re looking forward to welcoming more shoppers in the coming months!”
