Hullabaloo’s swingin’ summer event
Hullabaloo hosts a swinging summer shindig on Sunday 14 July with guests Ben Faux and Ollie Friend from Brighton Band King’s Mews. Songs from Jessie J, Chumbawumba, Bonnie Raitt and more are harmonised as you have never heard them before by Brighton’s highly original and much loved Natural Voice choir together with their special guests.
This is a chance for Brighton acappela fans to bask in a truly innovative and inspirational vocal musical experience. Renowned for their eclectic repertoire Hullabalopo are sharing songs from protest to punk, folk to funk, reggae to rock and way, way, beyond.
For one night only hear our versions of Jessie J’s comment on our times in ‘Price Tag’ and Chumbawumba’s homage to the man who would not let the world forget in ‘All Because They Are Playing Wagner At The Opera’ and the power of Bonnie Raitt’s impassioned plea that ‘Everybody’s Crying Mercy’. Harmonic happiness as massed voices blend, bounce and bop to the best acappela fusion you will ever hear!
Sunday 14 July, 7.30pm, St Andrew’s Church, Waterloo Street, Hove.
Tickets: £12/10 from www.hullabalooquire.org
