As a small group of men desert a raging battle during England’s Civil War, they cross a field and are captured by two men set on finding an elusive treasure one is certain is buried in that field. Given no option but to aid them, the uneasy group cross a mushroom circle that provides their first meal, and events soon descend into a vast whirlpool of arguments, fights and paranoia as the treasure’s actual identity becomes more elusive.
