Local businesses engage with Brighton Pride

With just a month to go until the 23rd Brighton Pride, local businesses are getting into the Pride spirit by displaying supporter stickers and posters. The latest businesses to proudly display their Pride window sticker are Forde Hair on St James’s Street & the She Said Boutique in The Lanes (both pictured).

Gary Forde of Forde Hair says: “It’s the simplest way of displaying my support of Pride and all it does to the public. It’s great that LGBT people now have an easy way of seeing which businesses are LGBT friendly in the city too, simply by looking out for the sticker.”

Nic @ She Said boutique adds: “As a long term supporter of Pride I think it’s essential for my business to display this sticker. It’s fun and colourful just like the event itself. I’m very proud to have it in my boutique window, I don’t know why everybody doesn’t have one!”

The Pride window sticker campaign is just one of the many and varied options available to businesses to promote themselves and visibly show support for Pride. The festival and the influx of visitors is hugely valuable financially to a great many of the city’s businesses and this new window sticker campaign helps business target that specific customer group while also saying something important about your business values and community ethos.

The Pride team will be visiting businesses in the city over the next few weeks offering the opportunity to buy window stickers for just £30. To order your sticker now, please emailrichard@brighton-pride.org or call 07740 474 543. Fully customised business promotional packages including Pride website presence are also available.
