Three arrested after Brighton robbery
Three teenagers have been arrested after a robbery in Brighton which left the victim needing stitches to a head wound.
Sussex Police said that the three suspects were detained by armed officers in the Lewes Road and Bear Road area of Brighton between 9.35am and 9.50am.
They were taken into custody in Brighton where they remained this afternoon (Thursday 4 July).
Their arrests followed a robbery in Upper Hollingdean Road, Brighton, in the early hours of this morning.
A 35-year-old man was hit over the head with what appeared to be a silver handgun before having his mobile phone stolen.
