Filling the gap for Strictly fans who can’t wait until Autumn for their next fix, this is a great live show devised and directed by Craig Revel Horwood.

Loosely based on the life and career of Stricly girl Lisa Riley who acts as link and narrator, the stars are strictly the professionals – Ian Waite, Natalie Lowe and Artem Chigvintsev – who steal the show with a stunning variety of dances and lashings of glitz and glamour.

Interspersed with the dances are autobiographical monologues from each dancer, including Riley. At times this takes away from the pace of the show. However, this feel-good show is fun, fast-paced and fabulous. Gorgeous costumes, an elegant lit up staircase, an excellent live band and additional dancers all add to the magic. And Lisa Riley gets to showcase her singing voice too with a powerful rendition of ‘I Am What I Am’.
