American Express® to support Brighton Digital Festival 2013

American Express, a major IT employer in Sussex, is partnering with the Brighton Digital Festival, running from 1–30 September 2013.

The Festival, which is in its third year, will have 100-plus scheduled events across the city, including digital art exhibitions, performances, conferences, meet-ups, workshops and outdoor events, which run alongside some of Brighton’s iconic digital design conferences.

Brighton Digital Festival Manager, Tom Bailey, said: “We’re thrilled that American Express is one of the local organisations supporting this year’s Brighton Digital Festival.

“This support reflects the expanding community of organisers, venues and partners taking part in the month-long Digital Festival this September. This funding and support enables us to increase awareness of the fantastic programme of events through September. There is still time to get involved, so if you would like to put on your own event or get involved with one, do get in touch with me.”

Nigel Greenwood, Vice President, American Express Technologies said: “American Express has been part of the Sussex landscape for over 40 years, during which time we have remained at the forefront of technological advancements to ensure we have the capabilities in place to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

“Brighton and Hove is a well-known talent hub for the creative and digital industries and we are excited to be involved with what promises to be a great event.”

Part of the financial services company’s support includes production of the official Digital Festival Guide. From August this will be available to download from www.brightondigitalfestival.co.uk and available in outlets across the city.
