Amanda Palmer and the Grand Theft Orchestra

Although she didn’t get naked (despite the crowd’s demands) it’s difficult to imagine what more Amanda Palmer could have given to her audience at the sweaty Concorde 2. At one point crowd surfing around the entire venue, she mixed the spikey rock of the recent ‘Theatre Is Evil’ album with older Dresden Dolls tracks and an almost too raw new solo song making this certainly one for the fans. Perhaps she could have skipped the rather rote Pulp and Smiths covers in favour of more of her own compositions but overall she played a great gig while staying fully clothed.
