Celebcity: Steve Coogan is suited & booted for his new film
Steve Coogan is suited & booted for his new film, Kim Sears’ Brighton roots, Mark Woolley & Frankie
Alpha male
The new Alan Partridge film sees a hostage situation, guns, police and a whole lot of danger. It’s only fitting, then, that Partridge – local funnyman Steve Coogan’s best creation – should don a James Bond-esque suit to his film preview; step forward Brighton’s favourite tailor: Gresham Blake. Looking for a suit which says ‘Prince Charles crossed with Roger Moore’ we hope Partridge will be looking his best while using his licence to…make us laugh. The film has been in talks for years, but Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa will finally be released in August. We. Can’t. Wait.

The art of tennis
Kim Sears may have spent a long time touring with her Wimbledon Champion boyfriend and now lives with him in a £5 million house in Surrey, but don’t forget she used to be a Brighton girl! Sears studied English Literature at Sussex University for three years, after growing up in East Sussex and studying for A-Levels in Burgess Hill. Sears is now said to be painting portraits of pets for her company, ‘Brushes And Paws’, showing off her love of dogs and paintings (her dog, Maggie May, even has a Twitter account!). We’re hoping she and Murray will make a trip back to Brighton soon, and if it isn’t already booked for Kutcher and Kunis perhaps they could start thinking about a big day at the Royal Pavilion?
Frankie Goes coast 2 coast
Having released his second EP online this year and showing us he hasn’t finished yet, we wondered when we’d see Frankie Cocozza and his infamous big hair again (it’s been cut now but it’s somehow still big). Lo and behold, the ex-Celebrity Big Brother runner up was spotted in the flesh at Brighton Marina’s Coast 2 Coast! If you didn’t spot him, don’t worry, a new video from his latest EP, ‘Embrace’, is now on YouTube.
New style squad for ITV’s This Morning

the new expert hairstylist on ITV’s This Morning. Mark, who has also appeared on Channel 4′s Gok Wan’s Style Secrets and Made In Chelsea, will join stylist Darren Kennedy and make-up artist Mikey Phillips to form ‘The Style Squad’ on This Morning Summer from this week!
Spotted!
Emmerdale’s favourite vet Zoe Tate, AKA actress Leah Bracknell, chatting with her friends at Brighton Station. Well known for playing the first lesbian character in a UK soap opera, Bracknell has also turned her hand to a bit of fitness, releasing her DVD Yoga And You recently.
