Ride Of Hope 3

There is now less than three weeks until the third annual ‘Ride of Hope’.

Performance Foods are pleased to be supporting The Ride of Hope once again for the third year running, taking place on Saturday 10th August at the Brighton Centre kicking off at 9am. The first two events were amazing experiences of emotion and energy. This year’s event, in comparison to the previous two, is enormous and that means it will be packed full of more amazing experiences and more emotion that the previous two.

Thanks to Matrix Fitness UK there will be a staggering 125 bikes, 25 rowing machines and 25 Krankcycles available for you to book for as little as one 45-minute ride or as many as all 12 rides. These have all been donated for the event. There will also be an area set up for you to bring your road bike or hand cycle and turbo trainer and ride that instead.

You choose which rides you want to do; you choose what modality you use and you decide exactly how much energy you put into the event.

The most frequently asked question regarding this year’s Ride of Hope event has been whether or not you have to do all 12 rides. Quite simply, the answer is “no”. If you want to do more, go for it, but you are encouraged to experience this event from the saddle for at least one session.

The price breakdown of the event is as follows:

1 ride – £20
2 ride – £30
3 rides – £45
4 rides – £50
5 rides – £65
6 rides – £80
7 rides – £95
8 rides – £100
9 rides – £115
10 rides – £130
11 rides – £145
12 rides – £150

These amounts can be paid either by yourself or by way of you acquiring sponsorship from friends/relatives/colleagues. If you have any concerns, please email therideofhope@gmail.com. It is incredibly important to remember that all the money you pay in to take part in the event goes to Cancer Research UK but more importantly, it stays in Brighton at the laboratories on the Sussex University campus that Cancer Research UK fund.

On the Ride of Hope Facebook page there are trailers of most of the rides. You will also find news as it happens.
