From the Disney stable, and aiming to pick up its fanbase from those that loved Cars and its sequel, Planes tells of Dusty the crop duster plane with lofty aspirations to become an arial champion racer. Reaching for the heights and all that in more ways than one, as Dusty’s fear of heights proves something of a hindrance. What can he do to overcome adversity? Consult a pro, that’s what. Starring the vocal talents of Carlos Alazraqui, Dane Cook and Val Kilmer – the last of whom may tickle older viewers, who remember him better in Top Gun.
