This year’s event will see the likes of the Freestylers performing a live set to coincide with the release of their new album, The Coming Storm. Expect some classic dance floor fillers and some brand new material guaranteed to get things jumping. The acts performing across the festival’s stages will cover genres including Balkan, Folk, Blues, Funk, Roots, Dub, Electro, Electro Swing and more. Acts to look out for include Brighton’s Physics House Band, the festival powerhouse that is the Carnival Collective and Gypsy Disco who will be bringing a cornucopia of performance pieces. Another hotly tipped act is the Hackney Colliery Band who have been receiving airplay and rave reviews across the BBC. The theme for this year’s festival is ‘The Circus of Mythical Dreams’ represented through installations and performances designed to take your mind on an adventure, to kindle the wonders of the imagination and the mystery of dreams. Set up with a great deal of ingenuity and inventiveness, the grounds will be transformed into a haven of magical delights, full of awe-inspiring art and spontaneous circus performances, actors and acrobats gadding about amongst the lights, pixies, fairies and other mystical beings, interacting with fellow party-goers who have made the effort of turning out in elaborate costumes. The festival site will become an art installation in itself with the festival goers in their brightly coloured dress up becoming part of the exhibit.

The feeling of freedom felt at this festival will seep into you on arrival, pure silliness is encouraged and no-one is here to judge. Sleep under the stars and weave floral garlands through your hair, put on your best festival get-up and dust yourself in glitter. You can truly lose yourself at this festival so come along and, as Allen Ginsberg once said: “Follow your inner moonlight; don’t hide the madness.”
