Burglar’s haul found in Hove flat
A suspected burglar’s haul has been found in a flat in Hove.
Sussex Police said that detectives were trying to find out who the owners were.
The force said: “Police are seeking the owners of items found in a Hove flat and believe they may be proceeds of burglaries across Sussex and neighbouring counties including Surrey and Kent over the past year.
“The items comprise a number of Royal Doulton figurines, porcelain figurines, trinket boxes, a nutcracker, a revolving music box, items of jewellery and watches and a number of ornate clocks.
“They were found when detectives from the Sussex Police Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) carried out a search warrant at the flat in Sackville Road, Hove, on Monday 15 July.”
