Krater Comedy Club

There are loads of reasons why Komedia has won the ‘best comedy venue in the south’ award; lovely bar staff, clean loos, beefy bouncers to keep chatterers and hecklers under control, air-conditioning (suddenly vital!), and funny guys on the stage. On Friday, three very different comedians plus chirpy compere Stephen Grant made us laugh for hours. Affable Sunderland comic Matt Reed faced up to a leery Stag Do and won. Grumpy American Dave Fulton shocked with his unapologetically non-PC gags. Star Paul Sinha topped the bill and his intelligent, anecdotal style was a super finale to a giggle-tastic night.
