Normal teenager Clary (Lily Collins) discovers she’s not so normal when she stumbles into the world of the Shadowhunters and witnesses some extreme violence in a nightclub. Then her mother gets kidnapped by a demonic force (Percy Jackson knows your pain, Clary) and she finds new and uneasy alliances forming as she endeavours to save her family.
