Moped rider seriously injured in Brighton seafront crash
A moped rider has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on Brighton seafront yesterday evening (Thursday 29 August).
The emergency services were called to the A259 King’s Road at 10.10pm last night where the moped and a green Audi A4 had crashed.
The moped rider, a 36-year-old man from Crawley, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Kemp Town with serious injuries.
Sussex Police said that the 69-year-old man who was driving the Audi was uninjured in the crash.
