Huge congratulations to the seven nominees for Foster’s Best Show and five nominees for Foster’s Best Newcomer out of the many thousands of comedy shows on at the Edinburgh Fringe. We were especially rooting for former Latest 7 columnists Seann Walsh and Romesh Ranganathan.

Latest TV had their fingers crossed for both Nick Helm and and James Acaster, both on their second nominations for Best Show at the Fosters Awards, having previously had chats with both of them as their stars ascended fast.

It was announced that the winners were Bridget Christie (Best Show) and John Kearns (Best Newcomer), both with fantastic shows and well deserved victors.
