Artwave Festival
The annual Visual Arts Festival for the Lewes District covers the breadth of the District, including Ditchling, Firle and Chailey, as well as the larger towns of Seaford, Newhaven and Lewes. Artwave 2013 has just finished its exciting two week programme.

The launch weekend in the garden at Driftwood saw 458 visitors and a total income across the three day weekend of £2,859, with £606 of that raised for Macmillan
Cancer Support.

Connected TV
Wired Sussex presented The Big Connected TV Brighton conference on 4 September at Komedia. 
Connected TV is about the merging of traditional TV formats with other multi-media platforms, such as the internet, YouTube, mobile and games.

The one day conference was hosted by Matt Locke of Storythings and brought together some of the industry’s most creative thinkers and leaders in these fields. Amongst them were Andy Eades (Relentless), Angi Mariani (Latest TV), Neil Mortesen (Thinkbox) and Richard Waterworth (YouTube/Google). For more info visit:
