Police hunt Saltdean flasher

A flasher is reported to have exposed himself to five lone women in Saltdean in the early hours of the morning.

The latest incident happened early yesterday (Thursday 12 September) in Saltdean Vale near the junction with Chichester Drive West.

The man was described as white, about 5ft 10in tall, aged about 40 and skinny. He was wearing a hoodie-type jacket and baseball cap and was naked from the waist down.

Inspector Bill Whitehead, of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are doing all we can to trace this man and urge people to come forward if they see anyone acting suspiciously in the area.

“The incidents are happening in the early hours of the morning and people are out at this time.

“I want women to be aware. We are stepping up patrols in the area.”
