Police ask for help to find suspected burglar in Brighton

Detectives are looking for a suspected burglar who they believe is currently in the Brighton area.

Sussex Police issued a photograph of the wanted man, Mark Vine, 36, who officers suspect broke into several houses in Hassocks over the summer.

Jewellery worth thousands of pounds was stolen along with computers, cash, cameras and ornaments.

Vine, who has links to Mid Sussex, was described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of proportionate build, with short black hair and green eyes.

Detective Constable Dave Wadley urged anyone with information about Vine to call Sussex Police on 101 or email contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
