51 Shades Of Maggie
Rude, raunchy, foul-mouthed and outrageous, Eastbourne has not seen a woman like Maggie Muff before! Billed as a hysterical comedy and parody of ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ this play was much more than that. The script may be packed with vulgarities and expletives but it is also a brave and honest portrait of an East End girl looking for love in all the wrong places. Adele Silva (Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale) was brilliant in this one-woman romp through modern sexual manners, combining multiple parts and accents with physical theatre and exuberant lust for life. A shocking, empowering and ultimately joyous tour-de-force.
