The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival
Autumn Harvest
Andrew Kay celebrates another great start for The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival
The 2013 Autumn Harvest season was launched in style at Hotel du Vin with a rousing speech from Caroline Lucas MP, a great supporter of the food festival. That evening we stayed at H du V for our first event, Make Your Case, which was won by Martina Pawliczek, deputy sommelier at the hotel. The following day we staged Bitter and Twisted which once again proved to be a riotous success and once again was won by a cider, this year presented by Sarah Bryant-Wilson of Hallets Cider.
